Accepting Submissions from November 21 - December 5, 2022
Enough Pie is looking for submissions to be featured in a collective art exhibition for one night centered around liberation, resistance and solidarity for the Inaugural Color of Art Soirée on Thursday, December 8 at Redux Contemporary Arts Center.
We are seeking submissions from artists that push the envelope and go beyond the traditional view of fine artwork to create an immersive evening of art and culture for a diverse and eclectic experience for all.
Enough Pie’s goal is to explore what artists and makers in the Charleston tri-county area are currently thinking, discussing, and making work about. Enough Pie firmly believes that art and exhibitions have the power to create social change, and the Color of Art is an extension of our values and mission to produce, fund, and exhibit socially-engaged art through community collaboration.
To be considered, artists must be currently working in the Charleston tri-county or rural, outlying communities.
Eligibility
Color of Art is open to any living artist. A maximum of 2 works of any medium, per artist may be submitted. Two- and three-dimensional entries will be accepted. Work must be original and completed in the last three (3) years. Enough Pie reserves the right to exclude work due to size or special requirements. Entries must be hand-delivered to Enough Pie office or mailed in a returnable container.
We will not exhibit or financially support work that co-opts the story of a community without representation from that community acting in a decision making role.
