Community Pizza Party

Enough Pie brought PIZZA PIE to a beloved community garden in the Upper Peninsula.

On Saturday, September 19 2015, we co-hosted a Community Pizza Party at the Romney Street Urban Garden using their homemade cobb oven. Guests were invited celebrate a new season of community gathering while munching on pizza and other food, and exploring Romney Street Urban Garden’s mosaic hopscotch and mural.

To bring a little play to the party, UP-Start awardee PlayUP! was onsite with their cubbies of fun. All are welcome and arts and crafts will be in full effect. PlayUP is a series of art and community-driven events known as “Play Streets” and will be happening several times this fall at various EP events, so we’ll be sure to keep you posted!

Partners for the Community Pizza Party include the North Central Neighborhood Association, Historic Charleston Foundation and New Israel Reformed Episcopal Church.

Feel free to check out this great pocket garden at 299 Romney Street (the street dead ends into the garden). All of our events are free and open to the public.
