This past Saturday, June 8th, Enough Pie coordinated a dinner with Transformation Table to help close ourAWAKENING: NOURISHseries. What happens when you invite total strangers to dinner and all you ask is that they “bring an open heart and mind, and a sincere desire to connect?”
True to the definition: “NOURISH: to provide with the food or other substances necessary for growth, health, and good condition”, this collaborative dinner provided space for healthy conversations, in a welcoming environment, over a delicious meal.
“I love the entire concept of bringing people together with food and good energy. It’s similar to my idea of bringing people together with music and good energy. I absolutely want to be invited again. And again.” Melvina Ravenel, Owner of Djum Exercise and Dance Studio
Each guest was greeted with open arms, warm smiles, and a refreshing cocktail. Within two hours new friendships were kindled, and phone numbers exchanged with promises to meet up again over coffee in the near future.
“Everyday EP strives to find meaningful ways for community members to connect, so working with Tina of Transformation Table seemed like a natural fit for AWAKENING: NOURISH.” Shanequa Singletary, Deputy Director of Enough Pie
Thank you to all our guests, our hosts, and to Transformation Table for working with us on this initiative.
