Love Bomb: Spread the Love Community Celebration

Valentine’s Day | Sunday, February 14 | 1-5PM
St. Julian Devine Community Center - 1 Cooper Street

Inspired by LOVE, Enough Pie & Friends are hosting a celebration at the St. Julian Devine Community Center. All are welcome!

Community Yarn Bomb: We will be yarn bombing the historic chimneys of St. Julian to bring a colorful spotlight to this historic community center.

Silent Dance Party: In conjunction with 1 Billion Rising (a global dance to end violence against women), Enough Pie and BoomTown host an epic (silent) dance party on the front lawn of one of Charleston’s most beautiful community centers. Valentine’s Day is made for dancing!

Bring My Love Home Music Video: Ever want to be in a music video? Now is your chance! We’ll be filming Charleston’s own Brendan James and his new single off: Howlin’ - Bring My Love Home, a love song to his family and to Charleston.

Weekly Knitting/Crochet Circle: Join us as we come together as a community and knit/crochet to help shine a light on the St. Julian Devine Community Center. Beginning Monday, January 4, crafters will come every Monday (until February 8) at 5PM at St. Julian Devine to knit granny squares to be assembled for the Valentine’s yarn bomb. No experience necessary (teachers on hand).

Can’t make it? No problem! Knit/Crochet SQUARES - 3ft x 3ft ideal, all sizes and contributions welcome from near and far in VIVID colors. Deliver (or mail) to: St. Julian Devine Community Center, 1 Cooper Street Charleston SC 29403 No later than Monday, February 1.
